Editorial standards and corrections

A useful article should answer a reader's question, not just repeat a show's promotional description. We prefer official catalogues for availability and premises, original company announcements for announced plans, and named research providers for estimates. Each sourced article links its evidence and records when that evidence was checked.
Catalogue analysis is not a viewing review
Our current show pages discuss official premises and provide questions readers can use during their own viewing. They do not award performance scores or claim full-series viewing. A future firsthand review must identify what was watched, the viewing date, platform and regional limitations. We do not invent reviewers, viewing notes or testimonials.
Analysis, estimates and tools
Interpretation is labelled as analysis. Industry estimates are dated and their measurement limits explained; a company's plan is not reported as a completed result. Calculator examples are hypothetical, not current app prices. Offers and catalogue access can change by region, account and date.
AI and illustrations
AI assistance is used for drafting, rewriting and site development. It is not a source of evidence about a show or a market. Public pages must still support factual claims with identifiable sources. The byline “PlotBite” names the publishing project, not a fictional critic. Covers are illustrative graphics rather than official stills or proof of viewing.
Corrections and held pages
Our 6 October 2026 review removed unsupported ratings and viewing claims from the current published collection. In particular, the previous Breaking the Ice article described a figure-skating revenge plot inconsistent with ReelShort's listing. Its replacement identifies the catalogue premise and does not retain the old rating or view count.
Other unverified articles are held out of listings, search and the sitemap. Their former URLs show a review notice with no indexing request. This is not a completed verification of those articles. Automatic publication remains disabled until individual drafts pass source and usefulness checks.
To report a correction, send the page URL, the disputed passage and a reliable source through Contact. There is no automatic email delivery or guaranteed turnaround; messages need operator review.
Commercial disclosure
Display ads are currently disabled. Ownership verification is separate from ad serving. If advertising or sponsored material is introduced, the site must disclose it and implement the required consent controls before activation.
